A pollinator moves pollen from the male anthers of a flower to the female stigma of a flower. The most common examples are bees, butterflies, moths, hummingbirds, bats, and birds. Another organism that is not commonly thought of as a pollinator is the ant. Although ants may not pollinate as much as these other organisms, they still contribute their part of pollinating to the environment.
